Re please help me find my error

Hi Everyone
Thanks for all replies to my naive question! especially Ted, Dennis, Hugh, D
Kennedy, Debra and Marilyn. I am definitely naive because it's hard to
believe that you would n't be thanked for the effort and the trouble of
going through the entire source code in an attempt to help -especially when
it does take such time and hard work. Still I guess you live and learn.
