From: Sharon Elix <saelix1970(at)netscape.net> :The <noscript> tag is not a particularly useful element as it is :inconsistently supported among browsers. It was introduced by Netscape at the :version 3.0 stage, and introduced in IE3 :so <script>-able browsers like Internet Explorer and NN 2.0 :display the contents of the <noscript> tag as well as the content of the :<script> tag. NN2 will not display the the actual content of <script>. The script tag was formalized in HTML 3.2, and supported by IE3 and NN2. -- Cindy K. Stanley
