site counter and statistics counter

I know this topic has been touched on, but I am in need of a new one

I currently use site meter and am not happy with the way it does my coding.

I found out it uses Front Page extensions and I do not use FP, so it is
goofy with
my site...

I would prefer something free and not too large for the fragment.
Your suggestions are welcome.

Hi there. Actually, my site has not been validated by anyone. If you mean
that I show that I am a member of the HWG, yes, once you become a paying
member you can display their logo and link on your site. I am assuming you
have done that already since you are participating in the discussion
groups...

To place the logo on your site, go to the main HWG page and look for the
'members only' section. Click the HWG Logo Program link and you are on your
way.

If you mean that your site is not being validated within standards set by
HWG, be sure to check through for alt tags on  pictures and links that make
sense within the context of the paragraph they are in (example: click <a
href=link.htm>here</a>. is considered bad coding for sight impaired
visitors. The only other thing I can see is that it uses the FrontPage
extensions for forms and some DHTML, which is not considered "standard"
HTML.

I only took a glance at your first page, but I would be happy to forward the
original request to the list and see what others may say. Let me know if you
would like me to do so and I will. HTH!
