You CAN view local pages in AOL without being logged on, or for that matter
without having an account. One of my clients is AOL-based, and I HAVE to be
able to see what he's seeing (although, with differences in monitors, that's
never exact). Yes, they use IE, but looking at straight IE is not the same
as looking at AOL's version. I've never tried to go through AOL's
installation without signing up, so I don't know if you can bypass that -
but you could sign up and then simply cancel during your free period.
