Just as an added note:  A background image can also be something that does
not tile.  You still have to keep file size in mind, of course, but the
image located at www.smartpetfinder.com/index2.htm is somewhere around 2000
pixels wide by 3500 tall.  The file size, however, is relatively small
considering the size of the image.  (16K)  The file size is a little bit
larger than I like normally, but was acceptable in this instance.
