Actually, pixels are very useful on the Web, as long as more flexible units
are used where accessibility is an issue. Unfortunately, there is such a
variance in the way browsers interpret ems, it's hard to use them in a
design without someone complaining!

Why? Points and pixels have their place, but the web is not one of them.
