Don Jones made the suggestion of using a right-click to open in the desired
application. But that still does not address being able to change the
default. How do you add programs to the list in
"Tools/Internet Options/Programs". I would like to add HomeSite (which is
the editor I use) to the list which presently contains Microsoft FrontPage
Editor, Netscape Navigator, and Windows Notepad.
When I am trying to figure out how to do something, I will "View Source"
which comes up in Notepad. Then I have to save it to a file so that I can
open it in HomeSite. The other option is to highlight everything in Notepad
and then paste into an empty HomeSite document. If I could made HomeSite my
default HTML editor, then "View Source" would come up in HomeSite saving all
the added work.
TIA
Jana
