In order to do that, you will have to do one of 2 things.  Either have an
alias set up that will forward all emails from your Bellsouth account to a
different Bellsouth account and use one for your ThinkPad and onme for your
Desktop OR you can set up one of your computers to not pull the emails off
of the server, but you will have to always check the emails with that one
before checking with the computer that DOES pull them off of the server.

What I've done for my clients is to set up a POP3 email at their domain name
(which they will set up at home, for instance, as a normal POP3 email
account on Outlook or something similar) and forward copies of any emails
sent to that email address to their bellsouth account which they receive at
work without having to set up another POP3 email account (since an "alias"
simply forwards copies to a different account).  It works very nicely for my
clients that require duplicate copies at different computers.
