You could make a very large gif, say 600x800 or even bigger,
but it would take up a lot of bandwidth and be slow to load.
And it would still repeat, but the repetition would be off the edge
of most people's screens.
Best is to design the animation so the repetition is unnoticed,
or seamless, see for example:
