Lois,
A good resouce for this is Charity Kahn's great article
on mouseovers at CNet, at:
http://www.builder.com/Programming/Kahn/012898/index.html
You can use their Mouseover Machine to automatically make them,
or you can read on, and her article explains how it's done,
and you'll know how to write them yourself.
