Hi everyone,
On this thread Re: PDF files and sending newsletters I have only heard
one person mention RTF files. Rich Text Format allows much of the
formatting that word does without creating the impossibly huge files that
word does.
A single page in word can be between 16 and 34 Kb depending upon what
extra information is stored with the page, where as RTF files can have
much of the functionality and formatting as Word files but without the
need for huge storage.
When ever I send out one of my Documents I send it in RTF format also
because it doesn't dictate that the receiver is a Bill Gates worshiper -
You can open RTF files with pretty much any word processing package.
Just my British 2 pence sterling for you!
Cheers,
Nik Robinson
