Hi All,

I was thinking about this today while I was writing a text on
cross-browser compatibility. I am studying Building Systems
Engineering and in one of our courses (about environment control) we
learnt about a "rule" when it comes to comfort control. Anyway, the
rule is that 80% of the occupants in a building must be comfortable
100% of the time or 100% of the occupants must be comfortable 80% of
the time.

Where does this all lead? Well, I was wondering if a similar rule
existed when it comes to creating web sites. It's obvious that a web
designer cannot please everyone who might visit her/his site, but is
there a benchmark rule that every one can follow?

Dave
