Nope. Sorry for the confusion. I meant that these browsers would display =
the
actual content of the <noscript> tag as well as the gizmo (for want of a
better term) generated by the script included between the <script> and
</script> tags.

To further muddy the waters, according to the JavaScript bible (aka O'Rei=
lly's
Definitive Guide) there are some really old browsers (types and versions =
not
specified) that:

"... do not even recognize the <script> and </script> tags. This means th=
at
they ignore the tags themselves and treat all the JavaScript between them=
 as
HTML text to be displayed..."

Unless as all of you surely do, start the script with the HTML comment op=
ening
sequence <!-- and end the last line of the script with //-->.
