In NN4.04 go to menu bar and click Edit,->Preferences->Advanced. Probably
similar in NN 3.0 and higher.
In IE4 go to menu bar and click View->Internet Options->Advanced->JavaVM,
and in IE5 go to menu bar and click Tools-. Internet Options-> Advanced
