Hi Dave:

I'd make sure that everyone listed under your domain's administration and 
contact account is aware of the move and supports it. I have a site I'm 
moving and I've been at it for over a week. 

The URL was registered by someone who is not affiliated with the company 
anymore and he is not responding to requests to approve the move and to 
release the username and password information he gave when registering. 
Therefore, we are in a battle to try and corner him and have him cough-up the 
information. He's a nice guy, he just doesn't have any motivation to make the 
changes. Since this site was registered with www.register.com, we 
apparently need the login information to make the changes. If it were with 
Network Solutions, then we could fax on letterhead a request for the 
changes.  So...heads up before you cut one site and expect a smooth 
transition to the next. Get all those ducks aligned first!
