Hello.

Albert, I don't know how Geocities works. And when I
did go there, I couldn't make heads or tails of what
they wanted me to do.

Anyhow, what I usually do is first save my image to
disk (not the hard drive, as your computer has the
potential to be wiped out and then where will you
be?). Then I either go to my directory and upload it
or else I FTP it.

The FTP program I use is WS_FTP. If you go to CDNET
(I'm sorry but I can't remember the URL for it,
offhand.), you can download a free copy of it.

That way, you have both your images on disk and in
your directory. However, I don't know what to tell
you about removing your images from your Geocities
page. Though, I'm sure there should be a delete
function for it in your Geocities page directory.

Is there not?

Hope that helps.

And on the index.htm vs. index.htm issue, I've found
that most webpage servers will give you a basic
index.htm page of which you can overwrite by placing
in your own index page. Personally, I don't like htm.
endings. So, when I have all my files uploaded, I
change them all to html.

You might want to check the endings of all of your
other pages. They might help you to figure out
whether it should be either index.htm or index.html

Good luck to you both.

Take care.
