I've noticed on my counters that IP Addresses after 9/5/2002 are all showing
numerical values ONLY - no letters whatsoever dispersed among them.  Has
there been an across-the-board change in formatting of IP Addresses or
something?  If not, what is causing this?

As an example, check this:
http://www.bennettsfinejewelers.com/cgi-bin/counter/visitors.cgi?date=09/05/
2002
and then this:
http://www.bennettsfinejewelers.com/cgi-bin/counter/visitors.cgi?date=09/05/
2002

I started using a better counter script last year, but these are some
hold-overs from existing sites.  Any ideas?
