viewing source - very basic

Here's a basic question.

I am trying to view the source code of my company's intranet site and all I
can see for a given page is some java script which adjusts the screen size
for different resolutions and checks for the version of the browser.

I don't see it calling any server side script or detailing any html for the
page.  The pages I checked had graphics, text, and option buttons.

???
