Timing

Hello again List...

I got several good replies on my question for embedding a sound file on a
page...but, I need another answer...hehehe

The page is the "splash page" for a website, and has 4 large animated gifs
that look like text getting typed onto the page...the sound file is a
typewriter sound, but it loads after the gifs do...is there any way to slow
down or even stop the images from loading until the sound file starts playing?
