Hello Lisa!

If I understand you correctly, I can suggest a couple of options to you:

1)  Use frames; a narrow one on the left for your links, then one to the
right for content of different pages.

or

2)  Use the exact same content in your menu table for every page (with the
exception, of course, of changing your links according to what page a
viewer may be on. This is a pain if you have lots of pages, unless you can
get ahold of a cgi script that can write all of the content for your menu
table on the fly. That way, if you change anything in your menu, you only
have to do it once, and the script will write it correctly for each page.
This method entails understanding cgi and SSL. Not to worry, though...there
are many on this list that can give you further help as you go along.
