Validation Graphic for HWG

Hi Y'all -

A quick scan of the archive didn't reveal anything, so if this has been
around before, please forgive.

I don't know how to phrase this, exactly...ok...here we go:

Why does the HWG web site's main page display the "Valid HTML 4.0" graphic
from W3C? The DTD is 4.01 Transitional, and, the validator at W3C confirms
this. Am I missing something?

God knows THAT'S possible...TIA!
