Hi List!
Let phrase this question another way:
Excluding the "no-cache" meta tag, is there a way to keep AOL from caching
web pages? I've been told that in their documentation they restrict the use
of that anyway. I've also been told that perhaps using a "dummy" query
string in the URL will work, but I don't know about that one.
I searched their site for this documentation, but couldn't find it. Maybe
if someone knows the link, they could forward that to me?
What I'm trying to accomplish is this: a client of mine uses AOL. When I
put edited pages on his site, he complains that he cannot see the changes.
I hesitate to try to school him in clearing his local cache and using
Shift-Refresh to get the new page because he is dense. He is also consumed
with other activities as a writer and documentary producer. I am trying to
find a way for him to view changes to his site without a lot of
rig-a-ma-role. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike
