Domain Registration

I am considering registering 2 or 3 domain names. Does anyone have any
recommendations for the least expensive registries? Seems like prices can
vary somewhat.

Also, I remember being able to go in and see "who" a domain is registered
to -- I tried InterNIC and it wasn't there, Can anyone direct me to the
correct web site for this also?
