Paul,
using either method you mention it is *easily* possible to do even more
obnoxious and dangerous things to your viewers computers from a
"conventional" web page!!
However (and no disrespect intended to you), you are **nuts** if you think
anyone (in their right mind) is going to explain it on this list :-).
Try going to:

There you will find tips/tutorials/specifications and any other resources
you may need to accomplish your desired task.
