strange text

I know this is off-topic but I don't know where else to go for help.
Here's my problem.
When I browse some pages I get text appearing as 3/4 3/4 3/4 3/4 etc.It's
been suggested to me that I may have a corrupt font....if so how can I tell
which font it is?  The source files from the two sites I know for sure this
happens on are no help to me.  If someone would be so kind to go to them
maybe you could tell?
