Are there any particular benefits to using SSI over PHP or vice versa, 
since your snippets of code (snipped out) for both seem to do the same 
thing in a very similar fashion.  Also, how would you do it with servlets?  
I've had a bit of experience with servlets and can't think of any way of 
(easily) doing that off the top of my head.  Mind you, it is 00:05, so it 
could just be me ;o).

One final thing, how did you find out what the header for the web server 
was?
