Extra pixels under my image

a bit like fairies at the bottom of my garden <g>

Can someone have a look at 
datasciencesresearch.com
and tell me why I have those extra pixels underneath my image (well, 
at least in IE5).. the image is in a table in the rightmost column and 
has a rowspan of 2 (actually 3, but that should make no diff).

The code is mostly hand done, so its sorta sloppy, sorry about that.
