Spanish web site questions on fonts

I am helping a company produce a web site that translates english 
to spanish. We can make everything work locally, but when we 
publish it to the web, all the spanish accent marks over the fonts 
disappear. When you increase the font size they appear, but when 
you go to another page and return they are gone again.

How do you assure that the accents remain when doing spanish 
language sites?
