There's a great article on A List Apart showing you how to use divs with 
CSS to get the same effect as tables (and a whole pile of other practical 
CSS tricks).  I can't remember the URL offhand, but go to 
http://www.alistapart.com and look in the archives for "Practical CSS".  It 
was only a few issues ago, so it should be near the top.
