The only reason they released early was to look good to the public because
they made an ass out of Gates. If not for Netscape, Gates would have been
left alone. Netscape could not do their own thing, add their own OS, so they
charged on Microsoft. I ask, where would we all be without Windows?? I for
one, am too fat and happy on Win to bother with another OS right now and
although someday I would love to learn to use Linux, it will remain someday.
As far as my stats go, 18% are Netscape Users, I have far more on WebTV and
I do not cater to the Netscape crowd. They are the minority and I do not
cater to them. BTW, even in the beginning when I did cater to them, they were
only 6% of the crowd. That should say something on Netscape.
