Howdy List!

I need to design a javascript (or other type--if you have a better 
suggestion) drop-down menu, but I am having problems with the 
layout. So I thought I'd try tapping into the webs best think-tank.

PROBLEM: When different screen resolutions are encountered, the 
drop-menus don't adjust/move to the display size (the web site 
layout is within a main table using the align=center tag and 
therefore floats according to the screen size being used). The JS  
I'm using only seems to utilize stationary (fixed) position settings 
for the drop-downs to be displayed.

I could simply left-top justify the table, but the client wants the 
table to be centered-top in the browser window.

QUESTION: Is there a way to have the drop-down menu's position 
float (left or right) with the main table as different screen resolution 
settings are encountered?
