Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who wrote to me regarding this quirk.  I removed 
the width from the table -- and now Opera is happy (I was so intent 
on wondering why the closing bracket in NS was dropping down a line, 
didn't look at it in Opera).

Another gentleman wrote to me and indicated I needed to put the 
brackets inside the link tags or <.a href="foo">[foo]<./a>.  That 
solved the problem, but I really didn't want the brackets to be part 
of the links.  I have used this type of navigation coding before with 
the brackets, and never had to put the brackets within the link tag 
(of course that wasn't using CSS either).

I can live with NS 4.7 not pulling up the background images, but 
would really like to know how I can get the side margins to look 
around a 1/2 inch. I've used pixels in my CSS, should I use em or 
something else for NS to pick up the margins? maybe percentages or 
???  Or can this not be done with a linked style sheet with NS?

Again, thanks to all that took the time to give me some pointers and 
show me the light at the end of the tunnel.
