Maybe it's not the right place to post this question. If not please
point
me where to go.

I made a site and i want to show some videoclips i made with my 
canon powershot G1.
These are 30 sec snips in *.avi format.
These files are rather large (8Mb).
Now the question:
1. When online it takes ages for them to show. How can i buffer 
mediaplayer to start playing after ....
When starting to play i hear the audio but don't see the video.
2. How can i make these files smaller?
