Hi folks,
For anyone who was curious, it seems to be a bug with the position rule.  When I removed the 
.content {position: relative;} rule, the page displays fine in IE.

Is there a bug report page for IE that I can use to alert someone to this bug (not that I have much 
expectation of it going any good...).
