searching my pages

I've got a search page on my site, using the FrontPage webbot. It formats
the page with all kinds of weird square characters in the 25000 range. I
think it's a defect in the server-side stuff. 

It's at http://www.xprogramming.com/search_xprogramming.htm if you care to
look at it. 

Can any of you recommend a good search approach that I could maybe put in
my cgi-bin or something? I hate this FrontPage page.
