Gateway and doorway pages refer to individual pages - ie one for each
search engine - that are stored permanently on your server. The idea is
you submit the individual page rather than the generic domain name.
Some search engines are wary of these too, and won't index them if they are
simply a "splash page" which links to only one URL.
