Newspaper Style Columnsby "rhtaylor(at)students.wisc.edu" <rhtaylor(at)students.wisc.edu> |

Is there a way to set up a page with two or more columns so that text will flow automatically from one to the next? I have an alphabetical list of items (currently about 75) that will be updated on an ongoing basis. I know the basics of setting up tables and using list tags. What I would like to avoid, though, is leaving this either as one long list or as a table where things have to be manually shuffled around each time an item is added. For this site, I'm hand coding the body of the pages in HTML. I then run them through WML (Web Meta Language, which was set up by one of our Unix system administration people and about which I know very little) which generates the <.head> sections and posts the pages out to an intranet site. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Robert P.S. For anyone who's curious, information about WML can be found at: http://www.engelschall.com/sw/wml/ If anyone knows of any others sources of information on WML, I'd be most interested. --Thanks.
