Gotcha.
I'll bet you expected something naaaaasssty !
Close. POLITICS.
Mom, please speak up if I'm headed into a minefield here (list charter?)
but I'm wondering . . .
Obviously, if an old grizzled antiquated PITA like me thinks CSS is a good
idea, the whole rest of the planet must too - right?
:-)
Seriously. I got myself to thinking. Remember what I said about "the only
INDUSTRY PRESSURE I have actually ever seen for ANY browser feature
(myself) was support for CSS"? Well, that was true. And mostly, right here
on these HWG lists.
I realize full well that the gang at HWGHQ are doing their level best to
get us heard as a "politically correct and professionally responsible"
group. And I am trying to do my part to aid in that (spooky huh?!?!), but
I have to wonder . . .
If a group of say . . . . 100,000 people set aside day "X" to send a plea
to ALL the browser manufacturers (ok, well except Oprea, we send them thank
you mail!) and then ALL did that on that day, do you think it might be a
newsworthy event? Do you think it might have an impact?
Do you think Mom is about to slap me upside the head and send me to my room?
:-)
Fuzzy
<just full of HYPOTHETICAL questions . . . or something . . . tonight!>

I asked Mom if I was a gifted child... she said they certainly wouldn't
have paid for me.
