Nope, -- it's the tool. I've seen some decent FP sites in the hands of
someone that knows how to operate it. Unfortunately, FP, like Word and many
other similar programs, gives novices the idea they can sit down and do a
professional document in 30 minutes. As much as you despise WYSIWYGs, FP
does serve a purpose and it can be made to behave. I don't have the
patience for it, but I've seen it done.
And, as we know, there is no software that works that quick and easy. I
propose that all software come with how-to manuals and warning labels:
CAUTION this will look like crap unless you learn how to use this tool
before inflicting it on the world.
