screen display size

Hi all;
Last week someone mentioned they were doing a study of how many pixels high 
800*600 screens actually display. I don't know if said person has completed 
that study, but when s/he does, I sure hope s/he shares that information 
with the rest of us! Vitally important, IMHO. TIA,
