Hi Folks:
While doing some research, I came across the following site:
http://www.aquapure.com/
In going over the code, I saw that the designer had created a block of
keywords below the copyright line and gave the font an attribute of "white".
I've heard of designers doing this - hides the copy from the viewer but
supposedly gives them a boost in search engine placement when the spider
reads the block of copy.
That I understand - not withstanding that the search engines will blacklist
this site for doing this.
What I never saw before is that said designer also created "invisibile" links
as well (also appears below the copyright line). Now how is that supposed to
fit into this chicanery?
Just curious -
I also noted that the site loads fine on my PC, but chokes on my Mac using
AOL's browser and also IE 4.5.
