A few questions on audio & video files...

Hi All,

I am starting the re-design of a music production web site and have 
a few questions about audio/video files. 

1) What format is the most used when downloading single songs or 
whole album/cds? I am guessing MP3, am I correct?

2) What format is used for viewing snippets of video? (Client wants 
to make available snippets of commercials).
