Sorry if this is off topic but to those of us in rural areas it could be a
real boon.
I am using 3 bonded modems right now but I still only get about 3 x 24k
baud for my connection. I am only 0.2 miles from the main road but the
cable company still wants $2,000 to run a cable line to our house and the
poles are already there.
Via www.tomshardware.com, he's a real Doctor, MD, unlike Dr. Science.
www.starband.com satellite internet access suppose to be about $60-70/month
w/150K download/50K upload at peak times. 500K down/150K up off peak.
