invisible border (was background problems in Netscape 4.7

Okay folks.  Here's my current situation.  Adding

.button {
	border-width : 0;
	border-style : none;
}

to style sheet and class="button" to each image took care of my problem -- 
in IE and Opera.  But now I have the big blue boxes around the navigation 
buttons in Netscape 4.7.  The good news is I'm totally validated.  Any 
other ideas for getting rid of the borders?
