I hate to be cynical, but I think they kick it back on purpose
just to be pains in the neck.

I discovered that one of my sites had an email address that was
ancient (like it didn't exist for a while before I even signed up for
that site). You're required to photocopy a personal document
(like a drivers license) and mail that in with their form.

I printed out the form & photocopied my drivers license, and snail
mailed it in. Weeks go by. Finally I get an email that my fax cannot
be processed because it's missing something.

I send back an email asking them to please explain to me how they kicked
back my fax when I never faxed them anything. I get a nice reply that my fax
was missing something and to please fill out the form and fax it in.

I sent back another email stating that I never sent in the fax, and are
they mistaking
me for someone else. I snail mailed something in and want to know if
they've lost
it. I get another cut & paste email telling me all the steps that I need
to do (which
I'd already done). I sent back a firm email that this level of support was
unacceptable
and I wanted my issue resolved without any more form mail.

Nothing yet :-)

So from talking with others, I'm not the only person who will have to do
this song
and dance multiple times to get something simple changed. They're idiots
plain & simple.

But when they're the only fiddler in town, you have to dance to the tune
that is played.
