Barbara,

When I inserted the height and width values for the missing image in your 
code, it displayed fine in IE 5.1. Before doing that, though, the image 
looked like a 2 X 2 pixel box My guess is that you will either need to add 
numeric values to the height and width attributes or remove them completely 
(not really recommended). It would seem that the some browsers may assume 
the empty height and width values to be zero.
