Good Morning Folks:
It was asked regarding width of the page:
> Any suggestions on how wide this should be?
My own opinion - if you're printing out on an 8-1/2 X 11 sheet, I would leave
at least a 1/2" margin left and right for safety. So I would keep your text
columns at somewhere around 540 px.
Print the page out and check it for "readability" based on your layout and
type face/size. There was some discussion back about how long a sentence
should be -
again, my own opinion, no more than 2 - 2-1/2 times the width of the letters
of the alphabet in that face/size.
Just a couple of thoughts from this aging proofreader..... :-)
