Watch out for Netscape 6. I've heard some real horror stories about it. Make
SURE you have the latest version!!! It's hard to load and when you finally
make it, it's even worse than the previous versions... assuming such a thing
is possible?? I've had several different "pros" tell me to wait. Version 6
is still not ready for "Prime time".

 Good luck and best wishes

Let me tell you all about my horror story with Netscape 6 <G>
I had Netscape Communicator 4.61, I think on here, then last week decided to
d/l and install Netscape 6. Installed fine, then in the directions on the
web site, it said you could remove your old version, which I did, thru the
Add/Remove...........guess what?? No more function to access anything web
based, No I.E., Netscape, AOL, nor ICQ after the removal......it must have
taken some files that is should not have, I guess. I ended up having to take
in to the shop, was without puter for a week, was having withdrawal <G> They
had to reinstall WIN98 for me etc.
Needless to say, I lost a lot of .dll files so now I am in the process of
reinstalling several programs that I had installed, some even from my D
Drive, because of lost .dll files that were in the Windows or windows/system
folder.
I should have never d/l the Netscape, but like to have it as a backup browser
and checking my sites for cross viewing etc. Thought a newer version would
be good, yeah right! <g>
