If you're running Windoze you probably don't. The most popular app, as far
as I know would be ws_ftp and you can get it at ipswitch.com. It's free
for non-commercial use (I think, I've never had to pay for it).

FTP, btw, stands for File Transfer Protocol. It looks like below you are
referring to it as File Transfer Program.
