Hello HWG and all!
Firstly, thank you for your advice regarding my question about my 'career
path', lots of good advice - I have saved your e-mails for future guidance.
I sent my CV and URL's list off to 12 agencies/companies on Friday - by
Monday I had three responses and an interview (this Saturday) - gulp! - so
wish me *luck :-)
I am putting together my personal web site 'BWR' but have encountered several
problems which I hope you can help with (actually, I'm sure you can help!)
1. If the visitor reduces the size of the window - the background image stays
put but the overlaid table jumps left and looks pants! - I think the solution
is to have three columns with their sizes set something like '100,*,100' -
thus keeping the outer columns in position but allowing the centre column to
shrink - what do you think?
2. The above question hasn't been resolved because - it looks great in a 800
x 600 monitor - but if you go bigger the background just ends! that's right -
huge white gap on the right hand side! - duh?
To conclude - how do I get a nice table of information sat neatly inbetween
the two fading-green columns?
Hope you can help - thanks in advance,
